My commitment

My commitment: To step out of my comfort zone more often and try out new stuff

Why: Heard the life experiences of my obs instructor, Natalie. She had tried all kinds of stuff ranging frm skydiving to backpacking. Truely living life to the fullest.

Revelation: Made me realise how sterile my life had been, how attached i was to my safe and sound coccoon.

Determination: To promise myself to toe past my comfort line more frequently.

Method: To try out new sports, events, whatever that presents itself to me. Stop tryin to thread the routes the majority took. Start encouraging the opening of my social circle.






Scholiship orienti camp

Had much fun the past 2 wks, thnx to the thoughtful program tot up by the scholiship board. Learnt alot of important stuff like personal grooming n deportment, social etiquette, etc. Made alot of friends as well, some of them like-minded pple. Too bad they will be flyin all over the world in a month or so. Or else, given time, strong friendship could certainly be bonded.
The OBS course was certainly the most fun of all. Apart frm the usual high obstacle course, we got to sail as well. Experiencing the joy of sailing on a cutter, I discovered the different faces of weather. Frm tranquil to storm. Frm day to nite. It was certainly a humbling experience.
I got rather interested in sailing now. Certainly gonna pick up some course to learn it, and maybi find some friends to go sailing together. Whoot! fun.

heh...worked at this it fair.......veri the fun. meet alof of pple tt i met b4 in jc.
1st dae.......sold nuting at all. diao........sadness. pushed veri the hard for pple to buy, budden pple jus sae "i take a look at other model 1st, later come back" then all neber come back. Leave my hp no. wif them also neber call back.
2nd dae.......quite a nice day cos managed to sell 4 lappies todae. yeah! n got headhunted: while askin pple ard to take a look at my laptops, suddenly got 1 person ask me whether i interested in wkend jobs.........unfortunately, i was not in a right state of mind at tt time n rejected her. sheesh.
3rd dae.....dae wif a bad start...one of the customer tt i had served on the 1st dae actually came back.......the mother n 2 daughters actually recognised me, but the father went to pay at another counter......sian.......didnt get the commission. But somehow, as a consolation, got a deal veri soon after, dunno y the customer decide to buy the lappy so earli.(maybi i was gd wif my advertising skills? haa) Then while i was explainin the specifications of my laptop to 2 women, one of the woman told me she was jus lookin ard. Then she asked a promoter next to me whether she wan to be a model for her business. Lolx. on tt day, i met one person who is probably an inventor. He said he liked my brains and style.....then wanna share his invention ideas wif me. lolx cool. I tink i wrote a wrong email to him......sheesh.......realli hope he can contact me by handphone.
4th dae......super crowded. practically got seasick frm the sea of humans. there was one person who came on the 1st dae, 2nd dae and also came back todae n finally bought a laptop frm me. Quite touched tt the pple i contacted online actually came to buy frm me too. yeah......thnx for coming back to me n not waste my efforts in providin info to u guys. Ate "lunch" at like 10pm todae hahharz......no time to eat or drink......no space aniway......jus wanna grab every chance to sell lappies.
For these 4 daes........realli gained alot of experience, met and spoke to alot of different kind of people and made a lot of frens........real cool.
