1 year ord anniversary

Time flies fast, so fast in fact tt i almost forgotten tt it has already been 1 yr since i orded. still enjoying schling alot, like i told myself i wld while in army. still tryin all sorts of stuff, like i reminded myself tt i shd. still havent forgotten abt the fun bits of army, who wld?
life has been gd to me, thnx for tt.
life has given me a few small gales to keep the adrenaline goin, thnx for tt too.

Luck's not random, it favours the prepared - Bill Byrne

Saw this article on Sunday Times todae, tot its nice to share wif those overseas.
Basically it is abt how being lucky stems frm hardwork and preparation.
how to get lucky? some tots tt resonates wif me.
-Be perpetually inquisitive. Search for truth, for answers to questions that are important to you. Listen while others talk.
-Network. Get out of your rut and meet new people doing new things and thinking new tots.
-Be positive. Cheer for those who try.
-Diversify your interests. Join Rotary, or another service club to meet new and interesting people.
-Do not blame others..... the blame game is for losers.
-Look for the edge. Do not fall off, but try to find where it is and practise risk-taking in non-threatening ways.

Windsurfing

Finally, some pics on windsurfing. Taken at inter-tertiary windsurfing competition. 1st dae was hell, waves were huge, course was extremely long n wind was powerful. It was like playin tug-of-war wif a mad bull on a mad bull. Feel bashed up by the end of the dae. 2nd dae when these pics were taken were much much much betta. Competed in the novice category. Was among the last few, so tt made me the noob of the noobs, lolx.
